Automations are active during specifically defined schedules. Schedules can be set by the day and time or can be controlled via input devices like burglar alarm panels. During setup, it is necessary to test automations to ensure the system is functioning as desired. In Hyperion version 2.3, you can temporarily enable an automation in order to test without requiring the alarm panel to be active.
- Access the Hyperion Gateway via a browser.
- Login with an administrator or user account.
- Select Automations on the left, then select an Automation.
- Click the drop down next to "Enable Temporary Schedule" and select the duration of the temporary schedule test. The Temporary Schedule will be activated.
Once you have temporarily enabled the schedule, you will be able to exercise the system with escalations while active. Once the temporary schedule expires, the automation will automatically return to activation only during the defined schedule.
Note: If you set the temporary schedule to a long period of time, 60 minutes for example, and you want to shorten it, simply reselect a shorter period, 5 minutes for example, to reset the timer.
